A girl went missing in my area on Friday. This morning they found a body (haven't seen any official statements on who it is) in a wooded area nearby.

It's crazy, I used to go up there and hang out with some of my friends because it was a good hike and there was a rope swing for the creek.

Anyways, I didn't know the girl, but lots of people took to social media (like most teenagers do) and expressed their sympathy towards her family. It hasn't been confirmed, but apparently it was suicide. Some people were just saying the dumbest things. I really hate people my age sometimes.. My only thoughts on the subject:

I get it. Teenagers are almost required to hate school. But immediately blaming the school system? Really? We don't even know if it was her body or if it was a suicide, yet people are pointing fingers and making outlandish claims.

I was in a park when a body was found. I didn't know that's why the police all came while I was there until the next day. Very weird feeling.

So I guess now it's school, in the 90's it was video games, in the 80's it was inattentive parenting, in the 70's it was drugs, in the 60's it was drugs/not wanting to get your ass shot off in Vietnam, etc etc.

It will always be something. My heart goes out to the family. If it was a suicide... having known 3 people who committed suicide (drinking, gay, depression) it leaves a lot of questions.

I'm in Tysons pretty often, especially when it starts getting cold out. There's always some nice cars at Tysons Corner.

yeah I've gone a few times, haven't been in the past few months though. Fair lakes C&C is like 10 minutes from my house so I usually just head there.

I also haven't had the chance to go to that either because I'm working Saturday/Sunday mornings.
